Some people live as if they are going to live forever. They keep waiting for the right time, worrying about the future, regretting the past, and in the process, they forget to live in the present.
There is no guarantee that you own the future. But there is one thing you certainly have: the present. So live in it.
I often see people saying that “it is hard to forget the past that haunted them”. Maybe it is. But if you failed in the past and are still living inside that failure without making any further effort, then you will remain average.
Whatever happened in the past, good or bad, don’t let it control your present.
Living in the present is a glory. And glory is always celebrated.
When I look at my old pictures, sometimes I wish I could go back and enjoy those moments more, in my own way. But that is impossible. The past is gone.
However, I still have the present. So let’s live it in our own way.
- If you get enjoyment from writing, write.
- If you get happiness from teaching, teach.
- If you enjoy acting and making videos, do it.
- If you find happiness in solitude, where you can actively do something meaningful, do that.
Don’t blindly follow trends.
You have only one life. Live according to yourself. But most importantly, live it with honor and respect. Be wise. Don’t talk a lot just for the sake of talking. Talk when it is necessary and when it is important.
Create your own world of rules and protocols. Live by them. Keep improving them. Keep evolving.
As this community is Variable Tribe, I believe everyone here should have this mentality: we grow and we evolve. But that growth and evolution should move towards positivity, wisdom, and improvement, not towards mediocrity.
No matter how much time you may be wasting right now, there is still a way to come out of it. Just stop for a moment. Contemplate.
Think about your present actions. Ask yourself: Where will these actions lead me? If you realize that you need new habits and improvements, then do something about it.
Follow the law of substitution. Replace a bad habit with a better one.
If you spend one hour on social media every day, substitute some or all of that time with skill learning, book reading, going out, exercising, writing, or having productive conversations.
If you have any other bad habit, don’t just try to leave an empty space in your day. Substitute it with something better.
You cannot always completely delete a slot from your life, but you can replace what you do in that slot.
Substitute. Improve. Evolve. And remember, you have one life. Live it wisely. Live it well.
Keep acquiring knowledge. Don’t live your life only to please others. But that also doesn’t mean living ruthlessly or doing stupid things in the name of “I live life my way.”
No.
Gain knowledge. Understand what is right and what is wrong.
Personally, I often look at the outcomes. If the outcome of something is harmful, to you or others, then think before doing it. If something helps you grow and does not create unnecessary harm, then don’t let people’s opinions stop you.
You have one life. Live it happily. Try to protect your peace. Don’t care too much about what people say. Help others if you can. It gives a different kind of inner joy and happiness.
And when your life finally comes to an end, make sure you can look back at it with pride, not because everything was perfect, but because you actually lived it.
One life.
Don’t waste it trying to become someone else. Don’t spend all of it regretting the past. Don’t postpone your life for a future that is not guaranteed.
Live now. Live wisely. Live with honor.
Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep evolving.
And when the time comes, die with pride. Wish you all the best.
