Explanation
A pig is an animal commonly found on farms. It has a round body, short legs, and a flat nose. Pigs use their noses to search for food in the ground. They often roll in mud, which helps cool their bodies and protect their skin, especially in hot weather. They live in groups and can adapt to many environments. Pigs may carry diseases such as trichinosis (a parasite infection from worms), salmonella (a bacteria causing stomach illness), and other parasites (organisms that live inside the body), which can be harmful to humans if hygiene and food safety are poor. The word “pig” is also sometimes used informally to describe untidy or greedy behaviour in people, but this usage can be hurtful and should be avoided in polite conversation.
