Explanation
Assure means to tell someone something in a sure way so they stop worrying or feel certain. For example, if your friend is nervous about an exam, you can assure them that they studied well and will do fine. Parents assure children when they are scared, saying things like, “Everything will be okay.” In business, a company may assure customers that their products are safe and can be trusted. Unlike ensure, which is about making sure something happens, assure is about giving comfort or trust to a person. The word shows speaking with certainty to reduce doubt or fear.
