Explanation
Maths is the subject where we learn how to use numbers and solve everyday problems. For example, you add numbers (2 + 3 = 5), subtract (5 – 2 = 3), multiply, and divide. Maths also teaches about shapes, like squares and circles. People use maths in many daily activities, such as counting money (like “How much do I need to pay?”), measuring food while cooking (like “Use 1 cup of sugar), and reading the time. Maths helps us understand how things work with numbers in real life.
