Explanation
Lost describes someone who does not know where they are because they are in the wrong place. For example, he was lost in the city and didnāt know which way to go. It can also describe someone who feels confused, unsure, or unable to understand what is happening, such as she felt lost in class because the lesson was too difficult, meaning she could not follow or understand it. Lost can describe things that cannot be found, like my bag is lost. It is also used as verb (the past form of āloseā), as in he lost his phone.
