Hair

"Her hair is soft and shiny."
"She found a few hairs on her pillow after brushing."
"She found two hairs on her dress after brushing her hair."
Explanation
Hair is what grows on your head and body. People have different types, colours, and lengths of hair. Hair can also grow on arms, legs, or face, but when we say “hair,” we usually mean the hair on our head. We usually use “hair” as a singular word to talk about all of it together, like her hair is soft. But if we talk about a few individual pieces, we say “hairs” or “strands of hair”. For example, there are two hairs on your shirt, or she pulled two strands of hair from her head. The word “strand” means “a single thin piece of hair”, and it sounds a bit more careful or detailed than simply saying “hairs”.
